The word liminal refers to a period or space of transition, occupying the space between one place or another. Rebranding as Liminal Spaces in my love letter to that process.
Energy healing is a holistic practice that facilitates the healing process by clearing blocks in our energy field, repairs and rebalancing our energy, and opens our consciousness to areas we need to work through in order to bring our lives into balance and wellness. Energy healing works to restore balance throughout four levels of our lives-emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual- and allowing us to connect to our Highest Self and our true life purpose.

Recently, a student in my Dedicant witchcraft class asked how to substitute incense for magickal purposes, and I realized many of us have found ourselves in a similar situation. There may be many reasons why burning incense is not an option for you. Like the questioner, the smoke can pose a health concern, or you may be in an environment where burning is not an option. Imbued with meanings, each plant is reputed to carry its own vibrations and spirit. Plants can support us internally as medicine, or magickally, by drawing certain energies and vibrations. And what can be more magickal than a witch’s brew?
Our foundations have been shaken. Loved ones lost or vulnerable to the virus, our financial security and independence threatened, and the emotional and psychological toll experienced from being separated from family, friends, co-workers, and our larger community have left us feeling unrooted and off balance. There is no doubt the last two months have been life altering in ways that will not be fully understood for months or years to come. These hardships are meaningful and should not be minimized.
